Lighting up the winter evenings!
MGA students have had a fabulous start to the new year here at MGA, and it only gets better as next week our students take to the stage to begin MGA’s Winter Season of productions.
Full details of each show in production can be found on the Production pages.
MGA’s third-year Acting students under the direction of Caitlin Skinner take to the stage of Assembly Roxy Upstairs on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th November at 7.30pm to present THE ASH GIRL by Timberlake Wertenbaker.
Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th November sees our fabulous Dance students present a TRIPLE BILL of pieces at St Stephen’s Stockbridge. These performances feature work by two fabulous guest choreographers, Ricky Jinks from Untitled Dance Company and Shannellee Fergus from Zoonation, alongside a third performance by our own Edinburgh-based MGA choreography team, Sup Dhanasunthorn, John Burlington and Alex Risbridger.
And our graduating year of Musical Theatre students cast off on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th in DAMES AT SEA, directed by Lisa Cottrell and Music Direction by Marc McBride. Join us at St Stephen’s Stockbridge for glamour, high camp and hijinks galore!
Finally, to bring the term to a close and bring in the festive cheer, we have our annual Christmas extravaganza at the Usher Hall, and we are thrilled to be supporting The MGA Foundation for the very first time. A CHRISTMAS WISH arrives on Monday 18th December.
