Tom Mullins

Resident Creative

Tom studied at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts from 2012-2015. His credits whilst training include Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, McCrae in Farewell My Son, Harry in Alan Ayckbourn’s Confusions, and Moritz Stiefel in Spring Awakening. After graduating from MGA, Tom moved to Barcelona to perform in Spring Awakening with The Institute of The Arts, Barcelona, before working with Peel Talent as Swing Principal Singer aboard several of their ship fleet. Upon deciding to change career path to the creative side of the industry, Tom has since worked with Captivate Theatre and Gilded Balloon, directing and choreographing Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Rent and Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical, in Edinburgh’s Rose Theatre and the world-famous Spiegeltent.

Within MGA, Tom has directed on the BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Degree course, producing Fiddler On The Roof and Hadestown. He will also be directing Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music this coming summer, as well as Daisy Pulls It Off on the BA (Hons) in Acting Degree course. Outwith MGA, Tom is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of new Edinburgh-based production company, Arthur & Redpath Productions.
