Third Year Dancers get their Momentum

It’s here! Momentum 2021 has arrived!

As part of their professional development, our third-year Dance students work with a professional film team to shoot various dance styles, creating a unique, diverse and dynamic showreel as part of their promotional portfolio after graduation.

This essential project, entitled Momentum, offers our students the best possible exposure to the professional industry even before they leave our studios. Watch a taste of their incredible work in the video below! And huge thanks to our Industry friends Nexus Digital Media for filming and production.

We’ve also celebrated the talents of our full graduating year group this month by releasing an entirely online Graduate Showcase to industry professionals and creatives, and we’re delighted with the feedback. (To see more of our Dancers, as well as our Musical Theatre and Acting graduates, please get in touch with us directly to arrange instant access.)

Our Dance students have been working hard on their performance project for their final year, Impulse Festival of new choreography and Triple Bill – sadly no public performances due to COVID restrictions. And we are all excited that their final project, ’21’, should be live and for an audience in June! To find out more on booking tickets for this and our Acting and Musical Theatre final shows, please visit the Events page.

If you’re inspired by what you’ve seen here and would like to join us as a Dance student in the future, check out our Full-Time School pages for our BA (Hons) in Dance for Commercial Performance and our Foundation Course in Professional Dance Performance.
